// RECAP
Devious eSports’ PGL Closed Qualification campaign has come to an end following a 0–2 defeat against Finishers in the Lower Bracket.
DVS entered the series looking to bounce back following their opening loss to FlyQuest, with their tournament life on the line. The series began on Nuke, Devious’ map pick, where Finishers took control and closed out the opening map 13–7.
With no room for error, the series moved to Dust II. Finishers carried their momentum into the second map and secured a 13–2 victory, completing the 2–0 series and eliminating Devious from the Closed Qualifier.
While it was an earlier exit than the team had hoped for, the event provided valuable experience for the roster. Facing FlyQuest before battling Finishers gave DVS an opportunity to compete against strong opposition and identify areas that need further development.
The result brings our PGL Closed Qualification run to a close, but the experience gives the team plenty to take forward. As the roster continues developing its chemistry, systems and consistency, every official provides another opportunity to improve and prepare for what comes next.
Not the result we wanted, but valuable practice and experience for the team as we continue building.
GGs to Finishers. Back to work.
